Our company journey begins with our name Kiln Synctrum Corp.

Kiln Synctrum Corp is intricate even to the ears of our Chinese-speaking clients. While the founder, Alex Chu, was contemplating some ideas for the start-up and developing original prototypes, he met a man named “Chi-Yao” who wanted to co-invest.“Chi-Yao” in the Chinese means “to build a kiln”.

Kiln - large oven used for making bricks and clay objects hard after they have been shaped. The metaphor of building a Kiln in traditional Taiwanese culture encapsulates the meaning of inheritance for start-ups and experiences while innovating with a whole heart.

This encounter with “Chi-Yao” happened to correspond to Alex’s dreams of building a company to innovate new skills and pass on at 50 years old. Alex extended the name of the company, adding the word Synchronize in Chinese to symbolize the infusion of dialogue between generations.

Our Chinese name (Chi-Yao-Sin-Chuang) English pronunciation is (Ki-Yo-Sin-Tron), which forms the English pronunciation of Kiln Synctrum. These small coincidences gave birth to the company name: Kiln Synctrum Corp.
